kahwin is scary~?

haven't been writing much.
cuz, well, trouble in love life. sooo, it kinda makes me re-think about this whole marriage stuff.
kahwin is BIG deal. it is FUN. however...

there are a lot of things you have to carefully think through..these are the few aspects that i feel at the moment are important before you tell your mom and dad, "mak, ayah, saya nak kahwin"

1. yourself : are you truly ready to alter your life and make rooms for this stranger that you love? are you willing to negotiate for the rest of your life? are you prepared for the worst case scenario like death and divorced?

2. your partner: is he/she is truly ready? will they like your family, accept them; or will they pretend or make an effort to like your family? do you want them to pretend to like your family or really like your family? will they accept any flaws that you have? will they use your flaws against you? will they let you be you?

3. parents: will they accept your partner as their own child? will they compare your partner with other in laws? will you be able to bear if they judge your partner? will they be truly happy to let you marry the one you (think) you're in love with?

4. in laws: will you be truly accepted? will you feel that you're judged? will you have to put on good performance for the rest of your days just to impress your in laws? will you be on good terms with everybody? will you like everybody? will you be able to trust these strangers?

5. love.money.time.distance etc..

kahwin is a BIG deal. i am scared. i can't deny it. but is is also FUN...if you're truly in love. because as cheesy as it might sound, i believe in the power of love. with love, you can even move mountain if you want to.

with all that is going in life, i want to stay as optimistic as ever, but somehow being human, i do get scared.
i wanna get married. someday. and that day will be totally awesome~! because no matter how nerve wrecking marriage can do to you.. i still would like to be certain that kahwin is fun!

okay, this is frustrating. but up to this day, i still have no materials to share. but then again, it's the process right?
at the moment, getting married is not my numero uno priority. say whaaaaat? oh yes, not really. but i'll be working on something soon.. yeah.
that's the plan. better than nothing eh? hmm..
back to research! :P

oh yes.. kahwin is STILL fun~!!! no matter how sad your empty purse looks like. ^_^

what's in store for 2011?

lately the thought of a wedding gives me the aches (stomachache,headache,heartache).
i know it's crazy to plan a ghost wedding years ahead...but it will give you a very good head start, eh?
at the moment the future of the $$$$$ department is looking bleak, thus corrupting the fun part of kahwin.

for next year: there will be the whole plan for the wedding of MY dream and how to save up money with meager salary. or vice versa? hmmm..undecided. but totally i have to save up!

ya Allah...i pray that my future will be bright and i'll try to be a better servant and will me ya Allah that i'll get married and produce pious little servants... amin~

research, research, research~!

okay, last time buat degree ader reserach paper...
now, mari gunakan segala ilmu yang ada untuk buat Wedding Research! supaya this blog has more substance serta references yang kukuh.... hahaha..; bukan rapuanku semata.
macam buat masters jgklaa.. sbb maybe amek masa 3 tahun? >_< heee~

so this is some of the things on my 'literature review' list:

1. wedding dress - designers, costs, fabrics, etc.
2. wedding dress ++ (shoes, tudung, veil vs no-veil, tiara vs no-tiara) hah!
   
3. venue - paper work, rent, etc.
4. candies - where to tempah, costs, (yeah..candies!)
5. balloons - design my own, where to tempah, costs, etc.
6. PHOTOGRAPHER! - how many is enough?, friends vs non-friends.. again, costs.
7. hantaran
8. errrrrr..... (apa lagi ekk utk wedding? GROOM! haha.. definitely the groom!) *winkwink

n it seems that the pretty pictures in a pretty setting.... bile tgk mak ayah dia.. sume rupa org berada...
